The goal of our AE is to provide learners with equivalent certified competencies for basic education through learning approaches that match their age and level of cognitive development.

EFPU AE, therefore, targets out-of-school children aged 10-15, to support them to re-enrol in grades 5-7 or obtain a primary leaving equivalency; and to identify eligible children, enrol them in appropriate levels, retain and advance them, support their success in the A.E. center, and transition them back to formal schools or provide a primary equivalency credential in an inclusive, protective, gender-responsive and quality manner.

We then ignite their innovative and critical thinking skills to come up with businesses in any sector. We believe that every unprivileged individual has the potential to succeed when supported to get the right knowledge, resources and networking opportunities. We believe in building their capacity and making for them linkages that lead to the transformation of their lives. Under this program, we also empower school-going youth with skills of the 21st century and mentorship.

Community Development Volunteers

This program offers volunteers an opportunity to positively impact the lives of the local community. Volunteers participate in health promotion and awareness campaigns, participate in the renovation of schools, deliver different skills in schools or take part in any project work that uplifts underserved communities and makes a difference in their lives

Retired Seniors Volunteer Program

We run a volunteering program for retired professionals where we help them stay active and engaged by providing them a platform to apply their much-acquired skills in a meaningful way which makes them feel that they are still contributing members to society and staying connected with the world. Even though retirement marks the end of a professional career, it doesn’t necessarily mean the end of using your professional skills.  Volunteering with us gives volunteers a chance to mingle with people from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and walks of life to give them a strong social connection which overcomes feelings of emptiness, loneliness and isolation hence contributing to help them live a longer, healthier, and happier lives. The program welcomes both local and international retired professionals to be part of this program.
